Description 
HOT WHEELS id HW50 CONCEPT BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED
The Hot Wheels id Series features cars embedded with NFC microchips that combine with apps and interactive track sets to play a multitude of mini games. The id Race Portal records progress for app use and can be combined with regular Hot Wheels track. Hot Wheels id cars can also be raced on the Smart Track, which can be highly customized in a wide range of configurations. All cars sport full deco, Spectraflame paint, and exclusive id wheels. Several castings of scale models were retooled for track use. The id system was developed by Gerry Cody and Ron Friedman. The series was canceled in 2022 due to low sales, overproduction and the license for the chips ending; the series's discontinutation would not be announced until 2023, with an announcement on the id app. NFT Garage can be seen as sort of a spiritual successor to this series.
