Hot Wheels 2020 Holiday Winter Snow Series 4/6 Rockster Blue
Rockster is a fantasy ba- 2020 Hot Wheels Rockster4/6 Dark Blue Winter Series Newsed off road SUV released in 2004. Initially, the Rockster featured two different grille designs, a Tab-Post design and a composite casting (plastic roof/metal body). In 2012 it was retooled with a post/post design and a full metal body. Unusually for most designs, the tab to keep the body in place is in the front of the casting as opposed to the rear.
According to designer Eric Tscherne, Rockster was his take on a Jeep-like Hummer model, and was originally intended to have a full fabric roof with removable doors à la Jeep CJ-7. The front grille of the casting also resembled that of a Hummer, but featured raised slots as opposed to recessed ones; this was later changed to a generic grille on the request of GM, with all versions since about 2005 having a generic grille. The name of the casting was actually intended to be Roxster but Hot Wheels's legal team forced the name change to Rockster. The logos on the side of the initial release were nods to members of his family.
