Salt Shaker is a highly futuristic jet engine-powered salt flat race car. The name is play on the words "salt shaker" (a utensil for storing salt) and "salt flat" (the terrain the car races on).
The casting was retooled in 2015, with the interior section extending from the rear pipes to the front of the hood shortened and the windshield extending to the front of the car, now acting as the hood.
