Own a piece of legendary custom-car history with the 2026 Hot Wheels Uncertain-T, a brand-new Hot Wheels casting based on Steve Scott's famous custom Ford Model T hot rod.
The real Uncertain-T was built by Steve Scott between 1960 and 1965 using a radically styled fiberglass body, steel tube chassis and Buick Nailhead V8. After becoming famous on the custom-car show circuit, the car disappeared from public view for decades before being rediscovered in 2023.
Hot Wheels brings this historic custom back for 2026 in a Metalflake Burgundy/red finish with a black roof, chrome exposed engine and classic hot-rod proportions.
Numbered #230/250 in the 2026 Hot Wheels Mainline and #10/10 in Rod Squad, this is the first Hot Wheels release of the Uncertain-T casting.
 
Collector's Note
This one has a much better story than the name initially suggests.
It's not simply a Hot Wheels fantasy hot rod. The casting represents Steve Scott's actual Uncertain-T, one of the radical show rods of the 1960s. Hot Wheels classifies the casting as a licensed Ford vehicle, and designer Bryan Zhao created the Hot Wheels interpretation.
