Finished in an unmistakable Neon Yellow, the TRX features Polestar branding on the sides, hood and its pair of molded surfboards, along with smoke-tinted windows and OR6SP off-road-style wheels.
Unlike a typical Hot Wheels fantasy vehicle, the Polestar TRX has a particularly interesting origin story. It began as the winning entry in the 2024 Polestar Design Contest, created by designer Shashank Shekhar. The rugged electric off-roader was then transformed into a Hot Wheels casting.
Its exaggerated proportions and TRX name play into a T-Rex-inspired design, giving the vehicle an aggressive futuristic appearance while retaining Polestar's minimalist design language.
Brand new and unopened in original Hot Wheels packaging.
 
🏁 Collector's Notes
This is actually the second year of the Polestar TRX casting, not a 2026 New Model.
The casting debuted in 2025 as HYW29, #248/250 in Peak Pursuit 10/10, finished in dark metallic silver. The 2026 JJJ47 changes dramatically to Neon Yellow and moves the casting into HW EV 7/10.
There is also a second 2026 color, JJL49, in white, so the yellow JJJ47 and white JJL49 would make a good two-car collector set.
