Collector’s Notes
The HYX78 Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team is part of Hot Wheels' major expansion into officially licensed Formula 1 diecast.

Although released in the 2025 Hot Wheels Mainline, the casting depicts the Mercedes F1 W15, Mercedes-AMG Petronas' 2024 Formula 1 chassis.

The casting was designed by Craig Callum and manufactured in Malaysia.
The combination of authentic team graphics, black Mercedes racing livery, PETRONAS branding, and first-year casting status makes HYX78 more collectible than an average 2025 mainline.

Formula 1 collectors may also want the matching 2025 Oracle Red Bull Racing and Williams Racing Track Aces releases, all three of which share the unusual #59/250 and 1/5 numbering.
