The Satin Graphite Grey body features detailed vents and exterior trim, a McLaren logo on the hood, black interior, smoke-tinted windows, and black Y5 wheels that complement the dark stealth appearance.
 
This release is #142 of 250 in the 2025 Hot Wheels Mainline and #6 of 10 in the HW Race Day series. Mattel product number JBC17.
 
Most importantly for collectors, the McLaren W1 is a New Model for 2025, making this part of the casting's first-year Hot Wheels release.

The McLaren W1 Hot Wheels casting debuted in 2025 and was designed by Ronald Wong.
Two initial 2025 versions share the #142/250 and HW Race Day 6/10 position:
HYW41 – Metalflake Papaya Orange
JBC17 – Satin Graphite Grey
The Satin Graphite Grey JBC17 is the later recolor and provides a more understated, stealth-oriented appearance than the bright Papaya Orange debut version.
 
Because this is a first-year McLaren W1 casting, it has added appeal for collectors who specifically collect Hot Wheels debut models, McLaren vehicles, modern hypercars, and European exotics.
