Finished in distinctive Metalflake Robin Egg Blue, this heavily customized Pontiac Aztek transforms the famously unconventional crossover into an aggressive GT-inspired machine featuring a lowered stance, wide fender arches, front aero treatment and an oversized rear wing.
The blue body is complemented by camouflage/crystal-style graphics, #68 racing numbers, Yokohama, K&N and Hot Wheels sponsor-style markings.
Most importantly for collectors, 2024 marked the debut of the Pontiac Aztek Custom Hot Wheels casting, making this blue HRY61 the original first-year version.
Hot Wheels also incorporated a fun hidden detail into the casting: a pork pie hat and pair of glasses can be found in the rear cargo area, a subtle pop-culture reference associated with the Pontiac Aztek's famous television history.

The Pontiac Aztek Custom HRY61 is more interesting than the average Hot Wheels mainline because it represents the debut release of the casting in 2024.
Designed by Craig Callum, Hot Wheels took the famously unconventional Pontiac Aztek and completely reimagined it with a lowered stance, wide-body treatment, aerodynamic modifications and a large rear wing.
There's also a clever Easter egg hidden inside the casting. A miniature pork pie hat and glasses appear in the cargo area, referencing Walter White and the Pontiac Aztek's famous association with the television series Breaking Bad.
The original 2024 release appeared in Metalflake Robin Egg Blue as HRY61, followed by a Red-Orange recolor, HTD37.
The casting continued into the 2025 Hot Wheels lineup, making the original 2024 blue HRY61 New Model particularly relevant to collectors who want the first release of the casting.
Its combination of debut status, licensed Pontiac design, extreme customization and subtle pop-culture Easter egg makes the HRY61 an unusually fun modern Hot Wheels collectible.
