This officially licensed Nissan casting represents a heavily modified G910-generation Nissan Maxima station wagon transformed into a drift machine with widened bodywork, aggressive fender flares, and an RB26 engine swap inspired by Nissan Skyline performance hardware.
The dark red body features bold white racing stripes, Japanese ホットホィール “Hot Wheels” graphics, Nissan branding, and sponsor logos across the sides and roof. A chrome interior, dark-tinted windows, black base, and distinctive FC3 3-spoke wheels complete the custom drift-wagon appearance.
This release is #47 of 250 in the 2023 Hot Wheels Mainline and #4 of 10 in the HW J-Imports series. Mattel product number HKJ12.
The combination of Nissan, JDM, station-wagon styling, drifting culture, and a unique custom design gives this release more personality than a typical sedan-based mainline.

Collector’s Notes
The Nissan Maxima Drift Car casting debuted in 2022 and was designed by Dmitriy Shakhmatov.
The casting represents a modified G910 Maxima wagon with widened bodywork and an RB26DETT-style engine swap, making it one of the more unusual Nissan castings in the modern Hot Wheels lineup.
For 2023, HKJ12 was released in Metalflake Dark Red, while a second-color variation, HKK65, appeared in Light Blue. Both carry #47/250 and HW J-Imports 4/10 numbering.
The FC3 wheel design also has a special connection to this casting, as that wheel family first appeared on the Nissan Maxima Drift Car.
