Collector’s Notes
The RX-3 represents Mazda's early rotary-performance era and preceded the legendary RX-7. Hot Wheels designer Mark Jones created this racing-inspired interpretation, featuring wide fender flares, an aggressive front air dam, roll-cage styling, and a large rear wing.
 
The HCV78 black variation is especially attractive with its green/yellow graphics and gold-accented MC5-style wheels. It isn't a Treasure Hunt, but the Mazda name, rotary heritage, and HW J-Imports/JDM theme give it better collector appeal than an average fantasy mainline.
