Unlike the standard painted Surf 'N Turf releases, this special ZAMAC edition features an unpainted die-cast metal body, giving the vehicle its distinctive raw-metal appearance.
The Surf 'N Turf combines classic custom-car styling with a laid-back beach and surf theme. This version features colorful sun, wave, palm tree and sunset-inspired graphics, along with a surfboard and HW Art Cars detailing.

The 2021 Surf 'N Turf GTD16 is particularly interesting because it was released as a Walmart-exclusive ZAMAC variation of the regular #66/250 Surf 'N Turf.
ZAMAC Hot Wheels leave the die-cast body largely unpainted, exposing the natural metal appearance and creating a distinctive variation collectors can display alongside the standard painted release.
For 2021, this Surf 'N Turf was designated #5/10 in HW Art Cars and #66/250 in the mainline. It was also the third numbered Walmart ZAMAC release of the 2021 model year.
The HW Art Cars collection had another interesting feature: when the vehicles were collected together, the artwork incorporated letters and symbols designed to spell “I HEART HW's.” The Surf 'N Turf carries the letter “E” on its roof.
This ZAMAC variation retains the colorful beach-inspired graphics while contrasting them against the raw-metal body, making it visually different from the standard orange and other painted versions.
