Collector’s Notes
The yellow T9846 was the first 2011 HW Performance color of the Buick Grand National. Hot Wheels later issued white and metallic gray versions in the same series, including a Walmart-exclusive white variation.
 
There was also a Target Car Bands release of the yellow T9846 that included two Car Bands, so packaging variation can matter to collectors even when the car itself is the same.
 
The Grand National casting has stayed popular because it represents one of Buick’s most iconic turbocharged performance cars of the 1980s, giving this release strong crossover appeal beyond Hot Wheels collecting.
