Finished in distinctive Daytona Yellow, this classic C3 Corvette features a bold black hood stripe, blue-tinted windows, chrome interior, matching yellow base, and the desirable Faster Than Ever (FTE) wheel variation.
 
Released as Collector #007, #7 of 38 in the 2006 First Editions lineup, product number J3248, this model marked the debut of the Hot Wheels ’69 Corvette casting designed by Phil Riehlman.
The yellow debut model is particularly interesting because the casting represents one of the two exceptionally rare 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ZL1s, equipped in real life with an all-aluminum 427-cubic-inch engine.
