Collector’s Notes
The Rodger Dodger is one of Hot Wheels' most recognizable original designs. Created by legendary Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood, the casting debuted in 1974 and draws its styling inspiration from a heavily modified 1973 Dodge Charger SE.

This yellow 2001 release is especially attractive because it retains the dramatic exposed-engine styling, classic flame graphics, chrome base, and traditional 5SP wheels associated with earlier versions of the casting.

It should not be confused with the black 2001 Rodger Dodger Treasure Hunt #50003, which was a separate release. This yellow #53725 is the regular 2001 Mainline version.
