Collector’s Notes
This is the PR5 wheel variation of the 2001 Hot Wheels Chevy Pick-Up Collector #101.
Mattel also released this yellow #101 with 3-spoke wheels, making wheel identification an important detail for variation collectors.

The yellow body, “Bar’d & Wired” graphics, PR5 wheels, and early-2000s packaging give this truck plenty of nostalgic collector appeal.

The casting is also commonly identified by collectors as the Chevy 1500 / 1996 Chevy 1500 casting, although the 2001 card identifies the model simply as Chevy Pick-Up.
