Collector’s Notes
The Ferrari 550 Maranello casting made its Hot Wheels debut earlier in 2000 as First Editions #2/36 in red. The #235 Metalflake Gray/Silver 29291 followed later in the same year's mainline.
 
The two 2000 versions are easy to distinguish:
First Editions #062 / 23929 — Red body, tan interior
Mainline #235 / 29291 — Metalflake Gray/Silver body, red interior — your version
Another collector advantage is the construction. The early Maranello casting uses a die-cast metal body and metal base, making this a heavier old-school Hot Wheels release.
