Finished in elegant Grand Prix White, this officially licensed Porsche features detailed headlights and rear taillight strip, Porsche crest on the hood, black hood stripes and “CABRIOLET” license plate detailing. The Hot Wheels casting represents the extremely rare 964-generation Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, a special-production model created through Porsche's Sonderwunsch program. Only six examples of the real Turbo Cabriolet are reported to have been produced, making it one of the rarest Porsche 964 variants. With its classic 911 proportions, iconic whale-tail spoiler, open-top configuration and clean white finish, JJJ22 is an excellent addition for collectors of Porsche, European sports cars, convertibles and licensed Hot Wheels. The Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is a relatively new Hot Wheels casting, making its mainline debut in 2025 as #239/250 in the Then and Now series. The debut version was finished in Amethyst Metallic. For 2026, Mattel brought the casting back in Grand Prix White as JJJ22, placing it in the newly introduced Drop Tops mini collection as #3/5 and #52/250 overall. What makes this casting particularly interesting is the real car behind it. Porsche reportedly produced only six 964-generation Turbo Cabriolets, making the actual vehicle significantly rarer than a normal production 911 Turbo. There's another 2026 version collectors may want alongside JJJ22: Mattel released a Red Edition Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet as a Target exclusive. For Porsche collectors, the combination of 964 styling, an extremely rare real-world inspiration, Grand Prix White finish and an early-year Hot Wheels casting gives JJJ22 better collector interest than an average mainline.
