Designed by Bryan Zhao, this unique fantasy casting blends vintage land-speed-racing inspiration with futuristic Hot Wheels styling. Released as Collector #226/250 and #4 of 5 in the 2026 Team Wheels Series, product number JJH71, this is the inaugural release of the Salt Streaker casting.

The Salt Streaker makes its first-ever Hot Wheels appearance in 2026. Collector references identify Bryan Zhao as the designer, and his name is incorporated into the vehicle graphics.
 
The design takes inspiration from historic belly-tank lakesters, which used streamlined surplus aircraft fuel tanks as bodies for land-speed racing. An especially interesting feature is that this fantasy casting uses a metal chassis, helping give the low-profile racer additional weight and stability.
