The Custom ’72 Chevy LUV is based on Chevrolet's compact LUV pickup, which originated from the Isuzu Faster and was marketed in the United States under the Chevrolet brand.
For the 2024 Hot Wheels mainline, the Custom ’72 Chevy LUV returned as #118/250 and #6/10 in HW Hot Trucks.
The original HTC33 version features a Pear Green body with multiple shades of green and black striping, a black base, chrome interior and Retro Slot Wheels.
Mattel released three mainline color variations during 2024: the original Green HTC33, a Red HTF72 Kroger-exclusive variation and a later White HTD75 release.
