Add classic American custom-car culture to your collection with the 2022 Hot Wheels ’47 Chevy Fleetline, finished in bright yellow and featuring the unmistakable MOONEYES treatment.
 
This officially licensed Chevrolet casting combines the rounded lines of the postwar Fleetline with a lowered custom hot-rod appearance. The yellow body features black striping, MOONEYES logos on the doors, Goodyear branding on the rear quarter panels, and bright chrome detailing.
 
Chrome Lace-style wheels, black interior, clear windows, and a chrome base complete the traditional custom-car appearance.
 
This release is #155 of 250 in the 2022 Hot Wheels Mainline and #1 of 5 in the Rod Squad series. Mattel product number HCV91, released in J Case.
 
The 2022 version is also notable because Mattel retooled the Fleetline casting that year, incorporating a smaller windshield visor directly into the body tooling.
 
The combination of Chevrolet, MOONEYES, traditional hot-rod culture, and the bright yellow/black color scheme gives HCV91 more collector identity than an ordinary older mainline.

Collector’s Notes
The ’47 Chevy Fleetline casting was designed by Phil Riehlman and originally debuted in the 2004 First Editions series.
 
For 2022, Mattel brought the casting back with revised tooling and released two Rod Squad versions carrying #155/250 and 1/5:
HCV91 – Yellow with MOONEYES graphics
HCX50 – Flat Black with MOONEYES graphics
The MOONEYES branding is important here. It gives the car appeal to traditional hot-rod and custom-culture collectors in addition to regular Hot Wheels buyers.
