Product Description
2021 Hot Wheels Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R Gray Then & Now 9/10 GTC68
Add a legendary piece of Japanese automotive history to your collection with the 2021 Hot Wheels Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R, finished in striking Metalflake Dark Gray and released as part of the popular Then and Now series.

This officially licensed Nissan casting represents the classic second-generation KPGC110 “Kenmeri” Skyline GT-R, one of the most recognizable early Skyline designs and an important predecessor to the later generations that made the GT-R name famous worldwide.

The Metalflake Dark Gray body features black racing stripes and “Skyline” graphics along the rear quarter panels. Black LW wheels, a black interior, smoke-tinted windows, and a contrasting chrome base give the car a clean vintage JDM appearance.

This release is #180 of 250 in the 2021 Hot Wheels Mainline and #9 of 10 in the Then and Now series. Mattel product number GTC68. It is the second-color 2021 version of this casting.

Designed by Jun Imai, the Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R casting debuted in 2011, making GTC68 part of a long-running Hot Wheels casting family with strong Nissan and JDM collector appeal.
The car is New in package: See pictures for quality and variations. The card may have some shelf wear on corner and edge.

Collector’s Notes
The Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R represented by this casting is commonly known as the Kenmeri Skyline, referencing the advertising campaign associated with the second-generation GT-R.

The GTC68 version is the Metalflake Dark Gray second-color variation from 2021. The same #180/250 Then and Now 9/10 position was also used for the yellow GTB39 version and the later GameStop-exclusive HCY46 variation.

Because this release is now several model years removed from retail and carries the Skyline GT-R name, it has stronger collector appeal than a typical older fantasy mainline.

An optional protective case is available for an additional cost for collectors who want extra protection for the original card and blister.
