This officially licensed Ford casting represents the track-focused 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca, a more aggressive version of the Boss 302 developed with enhanced suspension, aerodynamic upgrades, and competition-focused equipment.

The Metallic Gray body features a striking red roof, red scallop-style side graphics, red rear spoiler, “BOSS 302” markings on the front fenders, and matching red PR5 wheels. A black interior, clear windows, and black base complete the distinctive factory-inspired appearance.
This release is #8 of 247 in the 2012 Hot Wheels Mainline and #8 of 50 in the 2012 New Models series. On international packaging, the New Models collection was marketed as HW Premiere. Mattel product number V5570.
V5570 is the second-color version of the casting for 2012, following the black V5296 release and preceding the blue variation.
Now more than a decade removed from its original retail release, this Mustang has strong appeal for Ford, Mustang, Boss 302, first-year casting, and older Hot Wheels collectors.

The Hot Wheels Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca casting made its debut in 2012, making V5570 part of the casting’s first-year release lineup.
Three primary 2012 color variations were produced:
V5296 – Black
V5570 – Metallic Gray / Silver
V5623 – Blue
The V5570 variation features the distinctive red roof, red side graphics, red rear spoiler, and red PR5 wheels against the silver body.
Because this was sold internationally under the HW Premiere name, collectors may encounter the same V5570 casting on slightly different card designs depending on the market.
The real 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca was the more track-oriented version of Ford’s revived Boss 302, with additional chassis and aerodynamic modifications inspired by racing applications.
