Celebrate classic Chevrolet performance with the 2011 Hot Wheels ’69 COPO Corvette T9674, Collector #004/244 and #4/50 from the 2011 New Models collection.
 
This is the debut release of the Hot Wheels ’69 COPO Corvette casting, finished in Metalflake Blue with black, red and white racing graphics and prominent #43 markings on the hood and sides. It rides on Muscle Car 5-Spoke wheels and features a contrasting white base.
 
Designed by Phil Riehlman, the casting represents the rare 1969 Corvette associated with Chevrolet's Central Office Production Order (COPO) system, which allowed specially configured high-performance vehicles to be ordered outside normal production specifications.
Brand new and unopened in original Hot Wheels packaging.
 
Collector's Notes
T9674 is particularly worthwhile because it isn't merely a 2011 Corvette release—it is the first color of the first year of the casting. Hot Wheels subsequently released white T9931 and black T9981 versions during 2011.
 
There's also an interesting historical connection behind the #43 decoration. The Hot Wheels casting is associated with the James Garner COPO Corvette racing cars, giving the racing graphics more historical relevance than a generic fantasy racing livery.
