Finished in Black, this Ferrari features colorful blue, yellow, and orange flame graphics, bold #17 racing markings, a contrasting yellow interior and rear spoiler, and chrome PR5 wheels. The aggressive racing decoration gives this release a distinctive early-2000s Hot Wheels appearance.

Released as Collector #157/240 in the 2001 mainline, product number 53700, this licensed Ferrari model is a great addition for Ferrari enthusiasts, vintage racing collectors, and collectors of discontinued Hot Wheels Ferrari releases.

Collector’s Notes

The Hot Wheels Ferrari 333 SP casting originally debuted in 2000 First Editions #11/36 in red. The 2001 black #157 release followed with a completely different racing appearance, using the flame graphics, #17 markings, yellow interior, and PR5 wheels.

This exact 53700 Black/PR5 variation was manufactured in China. Unlike some older Ferrari Hot Wheels with metal bases, the 333 SP uses a black plastic base, so I would not advertise this one as metal-on-metal.
