Collector’s Notes
The purple Dodge Charger R/T was released in the 2001 Hot Wheels Mainline as Collector #108/240.
Several variations of #50638 are known, making wheel and interior identification important. This example features the desirable PR5 wheel configuration.

The standard PR5 variation was produced with a white interior, while a much less common PR5 version exists with a black interior. Check the interior carefully before publishing the listing because the black-interior variation can command a substantially stronger collector premium.

This casting originally debuted as a First Edition in 2000, making the purple 2001 release an early variation of the Dodge Charger R/T casting.
